We met Mercy today at a animal rescue event. I fell in love with her immediately. We had been looking for a dog all weekend and kept coming up empty handed. We needed a small dog but none of the rescues would give us a small puppy because of the kids. At our last stop today, we tried again to inquire about small puppies, but they were jumpy and just not what our family needs. The man turned my attention to Mercy, and I was hooked instantly. Even more importantly, Madison loved her. She is very afraid of dogs so we thought this would help her to get over the fear. Mercy is a 2-3 year old Corgi/Beagle mix. She has a great temperament and she's a small dog. She has had an owner but she was abandoned a few weeks ago after being rescued from the pound. Because she was in for the 2nd time, she was on the list to be put down. The great people from Dog Pack Rescue rescued her and have had her in their shelter for three weeks. She has had all of her shots, been micro-chipped and house broken. We are thrilled to be able to give her the home that she needs.
Mackenzie's new best friend!
Here she is after her long day
