WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?

Let me set the scene.

Vivian's napping. Mackenzie and Madison are next door playing. I just sat Leah down on the couch to watch a movie. I am upstairs on the computer looking at homeschool resources. (Yes, it's July and we still don't have a plan for this coming year) Anway, Leah says, "Mama, I need you!" I walk down the stairs and see an unexplainable sight. She is sitting, naked on the edge of the sink. She has decided to go poopy in the kitchen sink!! I have officially seen it all. I can't believe I didn't grab the camera. Surprisingly, I didn't freak out. The funny thing is that later I told Tim the story and then asked him which one he thought it was and he said, "It has to be Leah!" She's the one.

How many words a day...

......do women speak? Well, there seems to be a varying range when you google. Dr Dobson says 50,000 while others say it's more like 20,000. Either way when you have 4 daughters, that equals a whole lot of talking! And yes, Vivian is only 18 months old and is by FAR the earliest talker we have had. She's been talking well for months now. And we homeschool, so they're all always here! So by my calculation I am listening to anywhere from 80,000-200,000 words every day. Just typing this makes me feel anxious. No wonder I feel like I am going to snap at any second. I just need four more sets of ears. Because I really do need one set devoted to my husband. He says maybe 10 words a day and I would really like to hear them.

Here's our SUPER SWIMMER!!!

This is a far cry from the little girl that had to peeled off my leg on the first day!

She just swam to the wall with Miss Amy

Yes, she is under the water!

Taking a big breath to go again

When you're a Super Swimmer, you receive a certificate of excellence, a trophy and a float!! (and then you're little sister cries all the way home because she didn't get anything.)
This is a little video clip of her swimming

I really want to be the biggest loser

On a message board for local moms, we started the Biggest Loser Challenge last week. There are 38 of us participating. And we all put in a $20 gift card to Target. On 9/22 whoever has lost the largest % of weight, wins the whole pot. Talk about motivation.

But there's an even bigger reason that I entered this challenge. I want to live my life. I want to enjoy my kids. I want to see them grow up and have babies of their own. And most of all, I want to cherish this life that God has given me.

The best part is that Tim and I are doing this together. We are counting points on Weight Watchers and going to exercise together.

My bargain blog

I find deals online all the time. So instead of emailing them out and always missing someone, I decided to start a blog. It's dedicated soley to deals, so if you find one feel free to email me and I will post it there. I've got a couple there already.

$1985.92 at Gymboree.....

Is what my friend Lisa and I WOULD have spent if we had paid retail for what we bought last night. And $238.47 is what we spent after shopping for 2 1/2 hours. I have never had so much fun shopping. We went for the Red Balloon Sale. This is the sale where they will bring everything that's leftover and sell it super cheap. Plus Lisa brought along a 20% off coupon and I have a Gymbo Visa which allows another 5% off.

It's super fun to shop with Lisa for a couple of reasons. 1, she shares my passion for a bargain. 2, she has the stamina to keep up (even while pregnant with twins!!) and 3, because she has boys and I have girls so we're not competing for the deals! We even got to go in the back room and dig through boxes to find these awesome deals. Heck, the sales associate even handed me the scanner to do price checks!! It was by far the most exciting shopping trip ever!!

Recital video

Ok, keep in mind that we are not professional videographers. :) I apologize in advance for the motion sickness.

When there are little girls involved.....

...there will dance recitals to attend!!!

We had Madison's and Leah's first recitals this week on two different nights. This, by the way, was probably the biggest milestone in Madi's life. We never imagined she would get up on stage in front of people and love it so much. I will try to post the video soon.

Cute gymboree pics

Here are a couple of pictures from a cute line of Gymboree. It's all coordinating but not identical much to my step-mothers liking! Vivian wasn't cooperating but I still took the pictures anyway. She had the cutest turtle on her shirt.

My birthday tea

We had my birthday tea today since my actual birthday was a little hectic. We had a great time at Tea Leaves and Thyme in Woodstock. The girls were so good. They even used real china and nothing got broken!! The ladies behind us even complimented Kit on how well-behaved they were. Nice to hear sometimes.
