Cause for celebration!!

Mackenzie has been accepted into The King's Academy for next year!! For those of you who don't know, KA is a parent-directed private school for homeschoolers. They go there 2 days a week and receive teaching in all their subjects and then they provide the work for the rest of the week for us to do. We have been in the application process for a couple of months now and are so excited that she was accepted. KA is a really great medium between full-time homeschooling and going to school full-time. They have some really great programs and are accredited for high-school so the students enjoy all the perks that go along with accreditation. We had really been praying about what to do about school. It has become very hard for me to do school all on my own. There just aren't enough hours in the day for all the planning and preparation. Plus this will offer Mackenzie and I both some much needed accountability. As well as offering Mackenzie some time with kids her age that I know she is missing. All in all, I think it will be a great thing for our family.

Better late than never right?

A Two-Year old's Bday

Leah's bday was last Friday. She turned two. She is officially no longer a baby, she's a full-fledged toddler. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! As you can see, the party was fun times!

Vivian is in the clear!!

My sweet baby is so much better. I am a huge believer now in homeopathic medicine. We took Vivian to the natuopath on Friday the 30th and she was really sick. She literally had coughed all morning. The naturopath did some testing and got her started on some herbs right away. Within a couple of minutes, the coughing stopped. And within a week of being on the herbs, she was almost totally well. The dr's had told us to expect a month of sickness and the Lord cut that in half!!! I am so grateful for finding this place and utilizing these herbs. I think I can safely say that for the first time in 4 months, my family is clear of any sicknesses. And I believe was can return to the land of the living!! Praise God!!

Monday update

Vivian is better today. She is still having a hard time with choking when she coughs but the coughing seems to be slowing. Leah and Madison are both coughing now as well. I am so tired of sickness. I am praying that all of this will leave our home and allow us to go to the park or something soon!
