Surgery and Football

So on Thursday I had surgery. Nothing major but major enough to be given a bottle of 40 painkillers. Had I known that I would be in significant pain, I would have probably held off until after tomorrow, which is when we are going to the UGA game. If I had remembered my maiden name, I would have recalled that nothing is ever uneventful for anyone in my family. We always have the odd and unusual reactions to everything. But I didn't realize that I would still not be feeling too hot. So I will be in Athens tomorrow, doped up on Lortab and fitting in well with the locals. Go Dawgs!!
