First day of school

Well, the fun times have begun. Yesterday we started school. Kindergarten for Madison and 6th grade for Mackenzie.

Madison and Leah love it. Leah will be part time. In other words when she can sit still, she will sit in and learn something.

We had another milestone yesterday. We decided to send Mackenzie to middle school. We had originally got the Abeka video school for her. About an hour in to it, our thoughts and prayers were confirmed that she should be at school. I enrolled her and showed her the school yesterday. It's a very nice school. It's new and HUGE!! Lots of kids there. But she didn't seem very nervous. We made it through our first day today. It was very bittersweet for me, but she loved it and had a great first day. I am so happy for that. We missed having her with us today. We went to Kroger and Madison saw some flowers and wanted to buy them for Mackenzie for her first day of school. So sweet! So Madi hung them out the window as we picked Mackenzie up. It was awesome.

So we enter a new journey now. And we are excited to see what things are ahead.

Wow! I leave for a week and all sorts of things happen LOL!

So no Mackenzie for playgroup crafts! The girls will miss her!

I hope she enjoys her school though :)

i wish my prayers were answered that easily! well, i know it probably wasn't easy - but right and God's will are more important. I pray that you have a great year of Kindergarten (boo hoo, Shannon's in kindergarten too!) and pre-school at home, and 6th grade at school. beware - 6th grade is a tough year!! But we lived through it.

Crisy, the only thing that she's sad about is not seeing the kids on Thursdays!

Annie, thank you for the encouragement. It's such a transition year.
