I feel so frazzled

Maybe it's just the ages of my kids, but I feel so frazzled most of the time. I forget everything and can't seem to focus on any one thing for any length of time. I think it may even be hard to have a conversation with me at this point.

Last week, the children locked me out of my own house. Seriously! I went outside to turn off the sprinkler and Madison locked the door. It's a key deadbolt, and she couldn't figure out how to unlock it. So there sit all three of the little ones, alone in the home. Mackenzie wasn't here. So I quickly thought and remembered that I had walked by one of the windows in the playroom the day before and thought it was unlocked. This is a time where my frogetfullness actually came in handy. It was partially unlocked so I was able to bust the window out of the frame and get in the house. I was so scared. And do you know what Madison and Leah were doing? Were they crying because their mother was locked out of the house? Certainly not! They were laughing and waving. I think they have won!

i had a similar thing happen Sunday to me - i wasn't locked out, but went outside to work in the yard for a few hours while James cut the grass and i just knew that Molly & Shannon must be in there wreaking havoc or at least spreading Ovaltine all over the couch, as they are apt to do... but they weren't. they were sitting nicely on the couch watching Disney channel or something. They even both came out several times just to say hi. I'm sure if I had another one, there'd be trouble...
