Thoughts on the election

For all the people who voted for the first time, I have to wonder if they knew the issues or were just voting based on skin color. Do they realize what is going to happen to this country and to the others that we support no longer? I am honestly sick to my stomach today thinking about these things and how this is going to affect my family personally. But through those fears I have to trust God that He has a plan for our nation and it is good, even if it doesn't seem good right now.

Me too, sweetie. Me too. I am hanging on to this today: And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Romans 8:27-29

I almost didn't come to work today though... You know that Obama's going to put gas in my tank and pay my mortgage, right?? I think THAT's the reason people voted for him, and because of pure, good old fashioned hate. They put their trust in a man, not in God.
