Remembering our Babies: Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today is a day for reflection and thought for many mommies.
For those of you who have lost a little one, no matter the stage, please accept my sympathies for your loss.
At 7:00 pm tonight, I will join many others world-wide in lighting a candle to remember.
In loving memory of our son
Although I have never lost a child, I wanted to let you know, that at 7PM tonight we too will remember Jacob.
ReplyDeleteI will also remember. Love you guys and we will remember Jacob.
ReplyDeleteI am remembering Jacob today as well. His short life touched my own life in such a mighty way.
ReplyDeleteTrusting in our sovereign Lord...in all things~

What sweet friends! You guys are awesome.
ReplyDeleteWe had a sweet time with the girls tonight. We spent time in prayer thanking God for Jacob and the girls and for His grace in our lives. It was a precious time.
I just learned we have something in common. John and I lost our first born, a son, Ethan Thomas Camp. He was stillborn at full term. That was almost 8 years ago. We love him and miss him every day!
ReplyDeleteYou wrote so beautifully about your experience, you have inspired me. I remember wondering how everybody else could just "go on living" as well. And I always feel awkward when people ask how many kids we have. Do I tell them 3 or 4?
God has been so good to us through this painful experience, though. He has brought us to a much greater understanding of who he is. It has strengthened our marriage so much. I mean, we've been through our worst night mare, what else can hurt us!?
Anyway, maybe I'll blog about Ethan some time soon. I'd love to hear more about Jacob as well. I know how it can be good to talk about it some times. Just know I'm here and I have had a similar experience.
